Authorized by China National Textile and Apparel Council, China Textile Machinery Association organized the Conference on Scientific and Technical Achievement Appraisal of “GEM2-CF Intelligent Carbon Fiber Multiaxial Warp Knitting Machine with Retractable Breadth Bedding” and “Rapid Pultrusion Technology and Complete Equipment for Complex Special-shaped Structural Parts of High Performance Fiber Fabric” developed by Newtry Intelligent on December 26, 2020. The appraisal committee was composed of 7 experts chaired by Professor Xu Lianghua of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Li Lingshen, Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council/President of China Nonwoven & Industrial Textiles Association, Gu Ping, President of China Textile Machinery Association, Huang Haiyong, Deputy Director of Technology Innovation Office of Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, and other relevant leaders attended the conference.

　　GEM2-CF Intelligent Carbon Fiber Multiaxial Warp Knitting Machine with Retractable Breadth Bedding adopts the integrated design and advanced manufacturing technology of carbon fiber multiaxial warp knitting machine to realize flexible production of carbon fiber composites.

　　Rapid Pultrusion Technology and Complete Equipment for Complex Special-shaped Structural Parts of High Performance Fiber Fabric includes micro tension control unreeling device of carbon fiber and other high-performance fiber fabric, precise preforming technology and pultrusion molding die for complex special-shaped profiles, line cutting device and straightness testing device for pultruded profiles, and integrated control system featuring “one machine with two molds” for pultrusion of complex special-shaped structural parts, which can improve the production efficiency.

　　The appraisal committee inspected the site, listened to various reports of the project, and reviewed the project appraisal data. Through inquiry and discussion, it was believed that the overall technology of the two new product projects of Xinchuang Intelligent reached the international advanced level, and it was unanimously agreed that these products could pass the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements. It was suggested that more promotion efforts should be made.
