The Successful Trial of the Newtech First Carbon Production Line Annual Production Capacity per line to be 3000 tons
The Ceremony of Signing & Completion of key projects of Changzhou National High-tech Zone and the successful trial of the Newtech first carbon production line was held in Newtech on 12 Oct, 2021.Sheng Lei, Deputy Party Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Committee & Acting Mayor, Jiangfeng, Member of CPC Changzhou Standing Committee, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Changzhou National High-tech Zone & Secretary of Xinbei District Party Committee and Tan Kunlun, Chairman of Newtech Group Co., Ltd were present at the Ceremony.

Annual Output of 19,000 tons to meet the urgent market demand for civil carbon fiber
As a major project in Jiangsu Province, the construction of Newtech project kicked off on September 26, 2020, with a total investment of RMB 5 billion. The annual production capacity of precursor is 38,000 tons, large tow carbon fiber 19,000 tons and composite components 28,000 tons.

The carbonized production line which was successfully tested this time mainly produces 25K large tow carbon fiber with the modulus 240Gpa and strength 4200Mpa; the output of single line is 3,000 tons per year. Upon completion of the project, Newtech will become a large-scale production base of carbon fiber composite materials in China, with annual sales expected to exceed RMB10 billion, which can effectively meet the urgent market demand in the field of civil carbon fiber.

Insist on independent R&D and innovation to master the core technology of the industry
