As a newly created design R&D team, Composite Design R&D Center contains a group of professional composite design R&D personnel with high academic qualifications and high technical level at home and abroad. Their professional fields cover process, die, structure and simulation design. With rich experience in design and R&D, they provide industrialized, low-cost composite lightweight solutions for rail transportation, aviation, automobile, wind power and other industries. A Composite Design R&D Center was also established in Barcelona, Spain, aiming to provide customers with a wide range of development and design schemes for advanced composite components and parts.

Composite Design R&D Center includes the business of composite design and simulation analysis, which mainly conducts the structure design, ply design and connection design of composite components based on the selected process and basic properties of materials according to customer’s requirements. With design and simulation analysis, it improves the structure integrity to give full play to the characteristics of lightweight and high-strength of composite, so as to meet the technical indicator requirements of customers. 

At present, Composite Design R&D Center has developed multiple design schemes of composite skirtboard, carbon fiber equipment compartment, composite floor and carbon fiber car body for rail transportation customers, among which the composite skirtboard and equipment compartment projects have been mass-produced.
